Decorating with wild branches has always been a key secret for florists, stylists and interior designers, to add drama to a room, to bring great style to a vignette. Since we creative people have been locked inside our homes we are going even more wild. I don't know if you have noticed on social media that these creative people (including me) have been bringing trees inside their homes!! Have you seen this lately? What's going on with us?! Are we going insane? Bringing parks and gardens inside our homes?! But I would blame the coronavirus pandemic, locking us inside our homes.
All right! We are not going crazy! Bringing dramatic foliage and flowers inside homes is just a way of expressing our craving for beauty. As a lot of us agree nature has always been an inspiration for artists. Being forced to stay home has only forced us to reinforce what we already know what to do the best, which is to make our homes beautiful.
Here I am sharing the homes of a few great designers who are branch foragers.

If you start practicing 'foraging for branches' I also recommend that you adopt certain rules:
1 - Don't get branches from your neighbors without asking.
2 - If you go for a walk in the woods and decide to 'steal' a branch from a tree or a bush be considerate with it.
3 - Change the water in the vase that you put the branch in so that it can last longer and you are not craving too soon for a new branch.
